ARE YOU READY FOR THIS YEAR'S WINTER?
Winter is around the corner! We were given a glimpse of what winter will has in store for us in the course of this year's month of April. That's why at this point, it's only imaginable what it will be like when winter does actually arrive. Which begs the question. Are you ready for it?
In preparation and readiness for this year's winter, there are several ways in which you can keep your homes warm and cozy. However, not all of the many ways you may do so are as efficient and convenient as Air Conditioners. Why? You may ask. It’s simply because unlike traditional heaters, fans and air coolers, Air Conditioners do not restrict you to one specific function. Air Conditioners are multi-purpose temperature regulators equipped with but no limited to cooling and heating functionalities as All-In-One appliances. Air Conditioners basically give you control over the best of both worlds by allowing you to utilize their Heating functionality during cold seasons and the cooling functionality during hot seasons.
Additionally, Air Conditioners are environmental friendly, operate with Low Noise and consume less energy
Due to the vast amount of features Air Conditioners offer, they are perceived as pricey appliances without further research but that is not true at all. More than you might realize, Air Conditioners are budget friendly devices with a more flexible pricing model as it varies based on your needs which you can get by answering the following questions;
- Do you want to use it at home or your office?
- How big is the room that you want to use it in?
- How your room designed?
Additionally, an Air Conditioner's power is measured using British Thermal Units (BTU) and based on your answers to the questions above, your price range will be determined. A lower price for a smaller room where a smaller Split-Unit type Air Conditioner can be mounted on the wall and a higher price for a larger room where a larger Ceiling-Cassette Air Conditioner type can be mounted to your ceiling.
Just to give you a slight idea on how you can determine the number of BTUs an Air Conditioner suitable for your room requires, kindly refer to the below illustration.
For a room with the following measurements;
- Length: 5 meters
- Breadth: 4 meters
- Height: 3.5 meters
The required BTUs can be calculated by using the formula BTU = 145 (LxBxH). In this case;
- 145 (5m x 4m x 3.5m) = 10,150
In this case, an Air Condition with BTUs ranging from 10,000 to 12,000 will be well suited for your room
Just to illustrate the point of Air Conditioners having a flexible pricing model based on your needs, we have Air Conditioners in stock with capacities ranging from 9,000 - 48,000 BTUs from world class brands such as LG, Sharp, Hisense, Midea & Kelon which you can view and learn more about below
